The next Adventure

With the party officially free from their persecution by the church of Ion, the group seeks out a new adventure that they might partake in. They are first offered an opportunity to make some new enemies by helping kill a group of druids and start a war. The group has a change of heart though and decides against it. Marcus finds out about an ancient item that the church of Koanatee is looking for. The item is an ancient stone of life, supposedly used to help create the planet and all its creatures.
The group heads out into the woods in search of destroyed elven city which it is rumored to be in. As soon as they enter the forest though, they are attacked by what seems to be the forest itself. after a long battle they defeat this force of nature and sticks and veins. It explodes upon death and showers the group with thorns. As they are all nursing their wounds, 50+ dryads come and attack. Apparently that creature the group killed was their sacred tree. They make quick work of the dryads
The group meets some wild elves. When the group heads back to their village, they all seems friendly enough. But something is strange as their are only women and children here. The group also thinks that they might have already found the stone of life that they searching for. But the one elf started chanting some strange words while holding the stone as if in a trance. Soon after, a strange demon like creature is seen swinging through the trees answering the call of the elf. It turns out to be 2 creatures and they immediately attack the group. when the combat is over and the creatures dead, they look around and realize the wild elves are gone as well as the stone.

GODSPLAY

The group arrives in the free city of Furnoth. They are overwhelmed with the size and culture of this Free city. They seems to be far more advanced technologically then they are use to back in Fortland.
They are giving the name of a nice place to stay and eat by the ship master at the air ship port. The group heads over there. They are not even done with their first course before Paladins of Ion show up. Luckily They made some new friends in the short visit here and are able to elude them. They wind up gaining the helping hand of a faithful servant of Glamdrin.
They are killed and reincarnated into different bodies to rid their endless persecution by the Ionic church. They are now free to move about without fear of being accosted by Paladins.

THE STOMACH OF THE BEAST

The town seems quite different as the group walks around. None of the people are the same. In fact, as the group spends more time here they realize that all of the people here seem to be people they vaguely remember encountering throughout their lives. No one special or important, just a bunch of random faces. After discussing it with one another, Graznuk is able to break himself free from the enchantment.
The Kobold comes to in what appears to be the stomach of a very large creature. His body along with the rest of the group are slowly being digested in a pool of stomach acid. There is a strange creature also in this pool that has its tendrils attached to each of them, most certainly causing their dreams of that strange city. Probably keeping them calm while they are fully digested. Graznuk kills this nightmare beast and frees his companions. Once free, the group uses spells and physical force on the inside walls of the beasts stomach. Eventually the beast throws up from the "bad ingestion".
As the group is thrown up, they realize that they were in the belly of the largest Gold dragon the world has ever seen. Most likely the Great grand pa of the gold they killed a few weeks ago. The next problem they are faced with is a more of a gravity issue. The dragon was flying a few thousand feet in the air when he blew chunks.
Vigga of darkhold calls upon her nightmare to save her and Marcus and fly safely down. The rest of the group relies on a dimension door spell from Graznuk. They all get safely to the ground.
The group makes their way back to the coastal city and charters another ship top to the Free city of Furnoth.

SOMETHING TELLS ME WE ARE NOT IN FORTLAND ANYMORE GRAZNUK

The group decides to take a ship off of Fortland in search of new adventure. They quickly realize that they are on the worst possible ship. it is filled with Ion worshipers. After some slight altercations the group burns the ship and all it inhabitants and jumps onto the escape boat. An intense fog rolls in.
The group finds themselves on a small island. The fog is intense and there is no sign of life. Not even waves in the water. Konrad starts digging only to find blood in the whole. A lot of blood. After trying to get their whereabouts, Konrad cuts himself. and drops a drop of blood in the whole. Almost instantly 3 gnomish vampires appear and demand that they fill a water skin with his blood. They refuse and threaten the the vampires who quickly disappear. Konrad comes up with the idea and soon enough the group each drinks a drop of each others blood and poof!
The group finds themselves on the storage level of another ship. they are all part holding a small bottle with a dark liquid and floating in it is a small island. they head upstairs and find that they are on a large but strange river boat. They are told that that they will get off when the boat stops. the boat arrive and the group is ushered off the boat. they find they are back at the ports of Forthington, but something seems much darker and different. the place is pretty run down as if through years of neglect. They ask a passerby what year it is, it is the same year and date the group left....

The Paladin messenger party

The group makes their way towards the first city in Gridencon Only to be turned away. Apparently this is a very "holy" city. The pope of Shine-ra resides here. The overly good paladins at the front gate dent them entrance. They do however allow the group to purchase stuff which is brought to the gates for them. Through divine powers by Marcus, they are able to determine that messenger will be leaving soon with the info they seek to destroy. They quietly wait for the messengers to leave the city and wipe all of them paladins off the planet. Shortly after they realize that they have been scryed upon and a large bell/ horn is sounded. before long a slew of dragons can be seen answering the call. the group teleports back to Forthington.
The king of Forthington gives the group the option of continuing to do missions for him or to leave. The group ponders their next move over a royal bath.

THE GOLD DRAGON

THE GROUP PREPARES FOR THE COMBAT WITH THE PROPER SPELLS AND ATTACKS THE DRAGON IN HIS LAIR. JUST BEFORE THEY KILLED THE DRAGON. WHICH WENT PRETTY WELL, NO MAJOR CHARACTERS IN JEOPARDY OF DEATH, KONRAD USED A TRUE SEEING SPELL AND FOUND OUT THAT TWO COLOSSAL DRAGONS (GREAT WYRMS) WERE IN THERE TOO, BUT STAYING INVISIBLE, PRESUMABLY THE PARENTS OF THE DRAGON THEY WERE FIGHTING. AS KONRAD WAS ABOUT TO WARN EVERYONE, THE DRAGON WAS KILLED AND THE TWO TURNED VISIBLE. THEY BASICALLY WERE NOT INTERESTED IN THE GROUP AND WERE LEAVING THEM ALONE TO TEND THEIR DEAD SON. VIGGA MADE SOME COMMENTS, THE REST OF THE GROUP ESCAPED THE LAIR. VIGGA WAS HIT BY 179 POINT BREATH WEAPON THAT SOMEHOW THE GROUP COLLECTIVELY WAS ABLE TO KEEP HIM FROM DYING. CRAZY SHIT. THEN THE DRAGONS LATER CAME TO THE CAMPSITE TO WHERE THE GROUP WAS. APOLOGIZED FOR THEIR SON KILLING THEIR HORSES WITHOUT REASON, GAVE THEM NEW HORSES BUT ORDERED THEM TO LEAVE THE REALM. THE GROUP GOT THEM TO AGREE TO ALLOW THEM TO STAY FOR ONE WEEK TO HANDLE THEIR “BUSINESS”.

The Next quest

The group enjoys a much needed vacation while the various magical items they commissioned are completed. The king proposes to them several different missions with which to chose from. They decide to take the one that seems to fit them best. It is to head far south to the Kingdom of Gripencon where it is believed that monarch some how knows about Forthington and their involvement in the destruction of most Longincane's royalty. The king asks them to infiltrate, find out what is known, and make sure the word does not get out to the rest of the kingdoms.
On the journey south, they come across a great Gold dragon as they enter into the Gripencon kingdom. He breaths a fire cloud that nearly kills some of the group. They retreat and wait to meet up with the rest of their party so they can collectively rid the world of this foul beast.

VITCTORY

THE GROUP GETS MARCUS RESURRECTED. THEY INFILTRATE THE ROYAL CASTLE AND TAKE THE HEAD OF THE KING. THEY RETURN BACK TO FORTHINGTON. THE KING REWARDS THE GROUP WITH A MILLION GOLD. THEY ARE ALSO DESTINED TO RECEIVE LAND FROM THE KING. HE IS QUITE PLEASED WITH GROUP. THEY SINGLE HANDEDLY PREVENTED A WAR AND TOOK OUT ALMOST ALL OF THE HIERARCHY OF A KINGDOM. WELL DONE GUYS & GALS.

THE CLERIC FALLS

The group escapes safely as the Norworth dies around them. They observe all of the Peasants and merchants leaving either for the river or inland. But they notice that the Duke nor his men are with the fleeing citizens.
The adventurers find that they are all holed up within the cavaerns of the Dukes castle. They barge in and kill them. Marcus falls in the battle dead.

The Night of the Rat

The group regroups after bedroom scen. As they discuss their next plans the warning bell sounds and people run for their homes. They grab riding horses and flee the city. As they escape and band of the dukes guards is hot on the trail. The group attacks them with spells from afar. They escape the town of Hillshire unscathed.
They head north following along a pretty decent sized stream. Several days into their journey, the stream turns to muck and the putrid smell of decay surrounds them. They notice that all of their food, water, & potions are spoiled. Then this huge rat with no eyes attacks. As the battle ensues with this hideous hungry rat, Nyrissa hits the thing with a fireball. Though the creatures takes damage, it howls a moan of ecstasy as it pops out baby rats everywhere (gremlins style). The group eventually kills the rat and most of the babies. the rest Graz'nuk takes as pets. It is determined that these magic beasts poison food & drink just by their presence.
The group arrives a few days later in Notworth. The city is Gorgeous and plush with a good economy due to its location on the trade route. The adventurers rent a place to stay while Marcus visits with his local church. They hatch a plan to poison all of the food and water to the town. They buy a powerful aging potion. Graz'nuk calculates how much of a dose is needed to age the baby rat to adult. Narissa prepares boxes that when broken a fire spell goes off. They set the rat traps all over town. As they are leaving, one by one the traps set off and the streets are filled with rats. The infestation is so large that it is safe to say no one will ever eat or drink here again.

After Rollin's death, they decide to store his body in a bag of holding until they can figure out what to do with him. They leave the confines of the Knights estate after deciding how best to get at the Duke of Hillshire. The group flies up to his chambers and makes quick work of it. He never even had a chance to react. Now North to Notworth.

The knights of Longincane

After a few days travel North, the group is met by a Knight of Longincane and his men. He introduces himself as Sir Douglas Hathaway, knight of the Realm and Paladin of Noram. He questions the group about the letter he received stating the Gilded keep has been destroyed by Ion and the need to travel to the south east border. They are able to pass the test of lying to the Paladin of Noram. He wishes them safe travels and invites them to stay at his keep as his honored guests. He gives them a seal and key to the guest house.
The group arrives at Hathaway keep and gains entrance to the estate. They gather all of the servants and pay them 100 gold a piece for them to keep silent and a blind eye to their affairs. But even with all of their planning, two Knights arrive and quickly see through the ruse. The group quickly kills them. After great discussion of how to proceed, it is decided to come clean to the authorities ( a little). They send word for the law and it arrives a half hour later in the form of a knight and 20 men.
The parlay and ruse are unsuccessful and a massive battle ensues. Rollin Alwishus Picklweel is cut down dead by the Knight. But not before entangling half of his men with hoards of rats preventing their attack for some time. Eventually, the group prevails and slays the last one. The group contemplates how they can best get to the Duke of Hillshire...

The Duke, the entrails, & the Gilded Keep

The party finds the front door to the Dukes Mansion locked. Graz'Nuk uses a dimension door spell and gets the group onto the roof then directly into the Dukes bedroom. They find him undressing with the help of his servant. They cut out his entrails and tie him to the bed in them. They systematically kill everyone in the place which amounts to about 20 humans. They loot the place of treasure and steal a bunch of Flags, Banners, & tunics and head out west towards the Gilded keep.
On their way, they encounter a few Knights of the Realm. At first the ruse was going well. then it turned real bad quick. Just as about 20 cross bows were about to unleash into the group Graz'nuk was able to charm the leader of the knights. They passed them without incident.
The group arrives at the Gilded keep. Rollin summons a plethora of varmints to destroy all of the crop of the outlying farms surrounding the keep. The group gets inside the walls with another charm from Graz'nuk. Once inside they seek audience with the "Kingsward". when they finally gain admittance, they see and old man who can barely walk and a few servants. The booby trapped chest they planned on using on him does not pan out. The Ward appears to be a magic user and seeing the chest opens it from afar. Seeing this happening Nyrissa quickly cancels the fire spell she prepared to go off when opened. At the sight of the plan not working, Vigga calls her nightmare and charges the throne. The mage is dead before he even has a chance to react. the group starts killing the rest of the servants. but the last one tries to escape. Konrad bashes his head into the stone floor until his brains litter the floor. when the group branches out and slaughters the staff of the Kep, they notice that the servant Konrad killed was actually the Kingsward, not the old man. They prepare false documents to be sent throughout the rest of Longincane telling all to send as many soldiers as possible to the south eastern tip asap. They then burn the Gilded keep to the ground and ride north towards Notworth.

The kings Mission

The group settles in nicely to their plush rooms here at the castle. Vigga makes nice with the crown prince. He invites her to spar. Vigga almost kills him in the process. The king asks if they would do quest for him.He asks that head into the rival kingdom of Longingcane and cause as much havoc and destruction as they can to create chaos and thwart their current war plans.
The group agrees and are all outfitted with supplies. They take a small boat to the south eastern corner of Longingcane. The approach a small town. They head over to the Duke's manor house. Out front sits a young mage. They swiftly kill him and prepare to head inside.

A King's Welcome

Konrad & Marcus emerge hours later from the crypt holding the fabled Sun shade diamond. They explain that the Lich didn't want the necklace anymore. he also said that it shouldn't get into any of the gods hands either. Lap dog tries on the necklace and gets stricken with a pretty bad curse. Marcus is there to save him though.
The party does not return to the church of Noram, so Konrad can keep his magical item that was lent to him for now. The group decides to get a boat to get to the east and inform King Forthington about his traitorous son.
Vigga slaughters many on the way.
When they arrive in Forthington, they are greeted warmly by the King. He is quite interested in the News they bring. They tell him how his son, Prince Harrison was taken by the soldiers of Duke William Notworth of the Longincane Realm. They explain that he compromised the Forthington realm by giving away secrets about the castles defenses. The king agrees with Vigga that his son was a traitor and deserved to die. The King invites the group to stay within the castle as his guests.

The Sunshade Diamond

The group heads down the hall of the crypt after watching the princes corpse disintegrate in the acid. They come face to face with and undead doom guard or death knight, they can't tell, kind of a mix of both. This animated suit of armor proves to be quite a challenging opponent. They barely are able to slay this thing. at the end, they are left with a suit of armor and its weaponry. Then from the end of the hall a light shines bright revealing a drider (1/2 elf 1/2 spider) lich, He laughs loudly. The group runs out back towards town to go rest. Nyrissa remarks that the necklace the lich was wearing looks very much like what was described as the Sunshade diamond the church of Noram commissioned the group to quest for.
They head to the church of Ion and asked to be healed up. they rest here and also ask if there is anything they could spare to help them defeat the lich. They give a few of the adventurers some temporary items that to help them defeat the Lich.
Marcus heads over to the church of Koanatee. After his meeting with his superiors he comes to inform the group that his god also has interest in the Diamond. The group discusses what to do. and decides to first get the diamond from the lich and then figure out which church should get it.
The group heads back to the crypt. They are attacked with multiple fireballs from a distant by this lich. Almost needing to surrender, the group manages to parlay with the lich. He agrees to move his operation out of the cemetery and hand over the diamond if the group stops killing all of his undead. they all agree. The diamond is floated towards the group. Konrad grabs it and heads outside wanted to return it to the church of Noram as originally planned. Graz'nuk has plans for the diamond himself and starts to chase him. before long the whole group is chasing him. a battle between the part ensues. Rollin attacks Konrad but Nyrissa jumps to his aid. Then attacks and kills Rollin's cat. Rollin then attacks Nyrissa. Graz'nuk uses a grease spell to drop Konrad and tries to steal the diamond from him. Meanwhile, Marcus comes to Konrad's aid. Just then, the lich comes out of the crypt and casts a spell and both Marcus & Konrad disapear. The lich waives to Nyrissa and heads back inside the crypt.
Rollin then has a change of heart and helps Nyrissa up....

the prince & the pit

The group makes their way to the last Mausoleum. Here they are attacked by some even stranger undead. they head inside the crypt and Konrad gets caught in a pit trap. When he screams for help, A heavy caldron is thrown down on top of him. Eventually the group mobilizes and effort to tie ropes together to get him out.
They search around for a bit and find a sarcophagi. Inside, is a very much alive human. He explains that he is a prince of Forthington. Vigga interrogates him for a little bit. The group learns that the kingdom to the west of Forthington is getting ready to mount an attack. Also, they learn that they sold off this prince to a lich. After some more questions, Viagga learns that he this prince sold out his family by telling the enemy information about his cities defenses. He claimed that it was given through harsh torturous interrogation. Vigga doesn't believe him and throws him into a nearby pool of acid.

The salt mummy

The group heads over to the next mausoleum. They encounter a pentagram in the floor with piles of salt at each of its points. They decide to spread the salt all around into the grooves of the pentagram. Suddenly, a vortex of salt appears. Chains fall from the ceiling and animate into chain golems. A salt mummy appears out of the vortex and the battle is on! Graz'nuk gets stuck outside as one of the chain golems blocks the door with a whirlwind type attack. The battle is a dangerous one. At the last moment they vanquish the mummy and the chain golems. The group rests inside of the crypt. Both Vigga and Rollin perform the necessary rituals to call upon their familiars/ bonded mount. Vigga's mount comes in the form of a zombie nightmare. Rollins comes in the form of wraith cat.
The next day they head over to the next mausoleum. This one poses a much different threat as they group is attacked by a gloom golem and a band of zombies. Vigga is able to rebuke the zombies and his nightmare makes quick work of the of the golem.

4 Mummies and a Funereal

The adventures head back to the cemetery the following day to continue their quest. The head over to a Mausoleum with a stone wall surrounding it with a well and a statue. Clearly this crypt was for a wealthy man. As they approach 4 mummies attack. Vigga of Darkhold uses the mace of Croasis and sends all of them to serve her orc god. As they approach the entrance, they witness this strange 3 headed skeletal being. They engage it since it does not seem to want to fall under the control of the Mace of Croasis. The group is confused on whether or not they killed the beast though. It simply just disappeared.
They head over towards the next Mausoleum. These strange skeletal constructs slither towards them and attack. Vigga is able to send them to her church. Inside the crypt are bone shards left over from whoever hastily constructed these vile beasts. After the adventurers cleared the crypt they were walking towards the next crypt when they witness a funereal taking place. As some grounds keepers are lowering the casket into the hole, the casket busts open and a zombie attacks the men. One of the men, the zombie, and the casket fall into the hole. The entire group of mourners run away in fear.

The cemetery

The following morning Nyrissa heads to both churches to receive her quests. One is find a diamond known as the Sunshade diamond for Noram. The other is to eradicate an influx of undead at the local Ion cemetery. Having no info on the diamond, the group heads to the cemetery. They meet a cleric of Koanatee along the way who wishes to adventure with them. He introduces himself as Marcus.
The group travels to the cemetery. They witness a band of mummies roaming outside of each of the 12 mausoleums. They engage the first group with moderate success. After having to head back to town to remove mummy rot, the group heads back for mausoleum showdown #2.
This time, in addition to fight the mummies, a skeletal dragon joins the fight. The battle looks close to being lost, but the group prevails. They head back to town to rest.

The Journey South

Rollin, Konrad, Nirrysa, and the kobold Graz'nuk depart from the small farming village and head south. They are not on the road long before the last of livestock are spotted in the distance. The group decides to take a sheep with them. They make their way out along the river banks. They are soon attacked by three flaming nightmares. They are no match for these creatures. Just before they think they will all be killed, the three nightmares take the sheep and leave.
The group arrives several days later in the Southern town of Southpost. Nirrysa heads over to both the church of Ion and of Noram seeking a quest or two. he is told to come back in the morning.
The group arrives at a tavern for some dinner. A large half orc with the symbols of the paladin of Croasis enters. After a short while he is invited to sit with the group and then later to adventure with them.

departures

Nigel & Kim make their way South. They come upon a band of orcs who have a number of slaves that don't look too healthly. they decide to free these people. After they are free they attack and kill all of the orcs. A few of the humans and a kobold decide to travel south with the two. They reach a small farming village. Nigel likes this quiet life here. He is asked to stay by the locals which he happily agrees to. Kim decides to head back to to the city by herself to bury the remants of her brothers under the great tree behind the Exileton flat.

The green dragon and the gold mine

The group heads back to town to divide up and unload all of the Silver from the mine. After some bartering and big purchases, the group heads back to the mines. This time they decide to check out a gold mine. As they arrive they witness the miners fighting a huge green dragon. The group sneaks in while the battle rages. Garradin is seen as they sneak in though and the dragon picks him up and uses him as rock. Garradin is thrown into one of the humans fighting the dragon. Then Cooper, Guliver, & Garradin decide to join the fight as the rest of the humans fighting the dragon outside are taken out by a acidic breath weapon. There are still more soldiers inside the mine who are now terrified to come out and fight. Kim & Nigel stick to the walls inside the mine and use their powers from a distant. The battle is a fierce one. the dragon takes some decent damage from the three adventurers but not enough. when the dragon regained his ability to breath acid, he cuts down the adventurers to a pile of fleshy pulp, killing them all instantly. Kim & Nigel head into the mine, take their fair share of gold and exit the mine once the dragon leaves. They head outside to find that the dragon ate whatever was left of their friends, took any items of magic, and left the rest of the things. Kim & Nigel head back towards home with the remnants of their friends. They will bury the articles next to their friend Percy under the tree in the madame's courtyard.

THE WIZARD AND THE DRAGON

The group finally makes their way to the southern tip of Goldstone island. They find the small town,the guards, and the ferry to their relief. the guards are quite surprised to see them again. The group boards the boat and makes their way south towards the main land. As they are getting off the ship a strange man pops out of a rope dangling in the sky. He introduces himself as Delathar. He is a wizard of some skill. He quickly makes nice with the group and travels with them.
The group spends some time in the city of Portlund. They spend a bunch of money and do a lot of shopping. Eventually they begin the journey south. They follow the Portlund river south to the Town of Carrington. Once in the town, they hear stories of dragon disturbing the silver mines to the east. They head that way in search of some adventure. They arrive at one mine and are about to enter when a green dragon blocks their path. Before the group can even react, Delathar casts a spell and banishes the dragon to some other plane. The group looks at him in bewilderment. They were all eager for a good battle. The group then takes all they can carry from the silver mine.

The ghost ship and the sloth

The group continues on the shore until they reach the northern tip of the island of Goldstone. The treasure map still shows a location slightly north of the shore. 2 of the adventurers swim out and eventually find a ship devoid of life. they use the still intact life boats to ferry the rest of the adventurers aboard. As they search the ship, they hear a strange noise of what sounds like chewing. they find a overweight humanoid creature eating anything and everything aboard the ship. it attacks the group. Copper is bitten repeatedly by the creature. Once the creature fell, Kim dissects and inspects it only to find that it is some sort of an undead. She also fears that the bites that Cooper sustained will change him into the same thing. Nigel sees the magic in this and explores some magical possibilities. he determines that the group must find a particular spell that should do the trick. the group finds a lot of gold aboard the ship. they bring it all to shore, take all that they can carry, and bury the rest.
The group starts heading back south towards the ferry docks. The find themselves back in the the cursed city of Goldstone again. Things are different this time around. The do not find the graffiti as it was last time they were hear to escape. They do find symbols in the cobblestone though. Nigel locates the proper scroll needed to save Cooper. Guliver figures out how to escape by using his spider climb while touching the symbol. The group gets out of the city again and find themselves in the strange web with plenty of spiders ready to attack.

Wasps & spiders

The party searches around the town for clues about how and why they might be trapped here. Garridan is convinced that the people are not real, he separates from the group and kills several people. Instead of them dying though, they just simply disappears. Guliver and Kim head to the town hall to look at the town records. It seems that the people have no concepts of time. They notice that they are all not hungry or feel the least bit tired. The sky is also overcast and bright, with no sign of nighttime ever approaching. Garradin tells the group of what he finds out about the people disappearing. He goes to show them by attacking one of the clerks in the hall of records. Only this time blood covers the floor and the body does not disappear as he said it would. But after some time all of the clerks that ran out in fear just somehow reappear back at their desks as if nothing had ever happened.
After much searching and investigating the group heads back to where they saw the graffiti of their weapons depicted. Guliver touches his weapon to the symbol and instantly vanishes. the rest of the group follows his lead.
The come to on a huge spider web that seems to cover the entire city. Their magical weapons are somehow giving them the ability to move freely over the web. They can see huge black and spiders starting get ready to make their way over to the newly freed food. They seem to blink or teleport short distances rather than walk. As the group gets close to getting off the web, small portals appear in the sky overhead. From these portals huge 18" long wasps emerge. The group counts 30 of them. they attack viciously with their magic missile wielding tails. The group fights them all off by the skin of their teeth and narrowly escape the oncoming spiders. they reach the edge of the forest but the spiders don't seem to pursue them. the group makes a trek west till they hit the ocean and camp their. Guliver strips down and enters the water, he single-handedley fights and kills a shark with his dagger.

The fabled Island of Goldstone

The group does some shopping in the city of Niletone and then decides to head further North and follow the treasure map they have. The soon reach the northern shores of Fortland, The map still show that they need to go further north. The explore the shoreline for a while and find that there is a dock and ferry service that can take the group North to the Island of Goldstone. The island is alway a popular tourist attraction. there are many boardwalks that weave in and out of the Mythical forest of Goldstone. Many fairy tails of Fortland begin here as they say.
when they arrive a few guards in armor welcome them and tell them to not leave the boardwalk at any point during their stay. when asked why, they are told that if they veer off the boardwalk, they will never be seen again.
The ever adventurous party decides to follow their map and heads off the beaten path. They find themselves some how transported to a huge bustling city known simply as Goldstone. They explore this place for a bit and find that there is a Citadel of tears here. The symbols and the architecture are the same but the People seem much different. Where as the group knows of these guys as more of a band of thieves, here in this city they seem to be a group of respected mercenaries. The group also finds that the treasure map leads them to a roof deck. On top of this vantage point they notice some drawings on the wall that resemble hieroglyphics but clearly can be made out the specific magical items the group has come to posses. they also find out that they may indeed be trapped here.......

Hide yo kids, Hide yo wife.....

The group makes their trek Northward. They are caught in a vicious snow storm. They find shelter in an old barn. They wind up having to spend a fee weeks here until the snow has a chance to subside. In the meantime, Nigel finds a mysterious book that reveals many secrets about the various special items the group has been acquiring.
The group heads out in the spring and comes to a small village. As Guliver & Nigel are buying a cart and food for the horses Garridan & Cooper head into a small residence. Once inside Copper rapes a young girl while Garridan kills the older one. Guliver and Nigel search out for the rest of their party and catch them in the act. Horrified by the actions of the day, Guliver tries to make things right. He escorts the rape victim into to a relatives house. The relative turns out to be a quite skilled mage. Things don't look good for the boys so they high tail it out of town.
When the group arrives in the big city a few days later, there are already wanted posters up for Garridan & cooper.

The lonely prisoner

The group makes their way inside. Garradin try climbing on the walls to get around a trap he notices. The trap turns out to be a general proximity trap and he gets hit with its damaging effects. luckily it is only his finger, which now is permanently devoid of flesh. They come upon an man chained to the wall wearing armor but no other items. he is alive and is sound asleep. the group wakes him up and they come to learn that he can not die. Kim, every the eager one to learn about the body asks if he would mind if she cuts his heart out. The man, who's name is Oliver Renfold agrees. Kim cuts out the heart with ever increasing skill. Guliver grabs the heart and eats it. At that point the armor on Oliver appears on Guliver and Oliver is free from the bounds on the wall. The group gives this naked man some cloths and short sword and they proceed further inside
They fight a cyclops inside this dungeon which they take the penis and some fingers from. Guliver demands that this guy Oliver travel with them to help remove this cursed armor. Oliver declines and leaves the party and the borrowed equipment behind.
The group heads further inside the dungeon and is attacked by a 7 headed hydra. they kill the beast quicker than anticipated and make their way to the back end of this dungeon. Kim finds a magical pair of gloves that allow her to deliver her healing magic from a distance. The group leaves the dungeon and decides to head north towards civilization.

Orcs & Knights

The adventurers head north further into the Porlund plains. They encounter a small group of well armed Knights who great them warmly. They explain that they are part of a larger group sent out to defend the borders against orcs. The group tells them of their battle with orcs the previous day. The knights offer to hire them to help with their cause. The party agrees and heads back to their base camp. They enjoy a fun evening with the soldiers and are given their first orders in the morning to squash some orcs and rescue some hostages.
The adventurers infiltrate a group of 12 orcs with 20 slaves. They attack fiercely and overcome these green skinned creatures. Kim is able to heal all of the slaves and the group heads back to the camp. They are paid for their service and agree to come back someday and do some more work. They enjoy and evening of celbration with the heads of the 12 orcs displayed on pikes before the fire. The next morning the group heads further North. They come upon an entrance into a cave. The door to enter turns into a living wall of some type. They gain entrance into this place only for the door to animate and walk away once the group is inside.

THE GEM AND THE CHAIN SNAKE

the group comes to a small cave guarded by six orcs. The battle is a fierce one. They defeat them and enter the cave. They find a coffin inside. They open it up and find the gem which instantly affixes itself to the scepter. The item glows with warlock magic. Kim determines the body is about eight years old. Nigel is unsure if this man is his dad or not. Then out of the corner of the crypt a length of chain animates and slithers around Cooper. The chain then attaches itself to Coppers spiked chain. It seems to take on a life of its own. The group then sets out to head further north to see what other adventures they can find.

The greatest thief on Zearth

After enjoying a pleasant meal and drink at the pub Garridan attempts a little thievery. The plan was to take a belt pouch. But plans are meant to change it seems. After being caught, the man, who turned out to be quite a gentlemen did not report him. Instead he excused himself and went to leave. Garridan wanted that purse so bad, he followed him and tried again. He botched it and the man made quick work of Garridan's outfit with the tip of his sword.
The group leaves this small village behind and heads further North in the Direction of Nigel's scepter. They scale a hug water fall and encounter a strange tree.

Burning down the house

The group returns to the Citadel of Tears hide out. The place appears to have been cleared out. The only thing the thieving bastards appear to have left behind where their women and children who appear to be frantically running around in a panic. Cooper bars the door and the group leaves to go get their constable friend. They find him in a peculiar position on the floor of his flat stabbing his wife to death. He is no help to the group though, he is in shock.
The group hides the body of his wife for him and returns but he is too far gone it seems. The group then meets what Cooper still thinks is a ghost. He looks like a twin of Percy except for minor differences in hair and clothing color. They befriend this lad and tell him of the demise of what can only be his twin brother. He introduces himself as Nigel They tell him of the his fathers skull and return to the Exileton flat so he can meet Madame Tessa and retrieve his brothers things. But alas, the place is in flames. They ask around and no one seems to be helping to put the fire out. They don't even know if Tessa was inside or not. They head to the bizarre and to their relief find her alive and well shopping away the day. They immediately get her out of the city and head to their friend Holly's hunting camp in the woods.
Garridan sneaks back to the city and retrieves Percy's items from the burnt down flat. After presenting the items to Nigel, he produces his old scepter that he has had for as long as he can remember. Just as he brandishes it forth, it magically attaches itself to the skull and the gem finds its way into the left socket. The item appears to point north
The group procures some cold weather and adventuring supplies as well as some horses and decides to help Nigel uncover the mysteries of his scepter. Sherrell and Tessa decide to head back into the city and begin to rebuild.
The group heads north along the river for many days and then, once they found a secure location, cross the river. The group now can tell they are no longer in their native Kingdom. They are now in the Kingdom of Portlund. They continue North and enter a small village known as Southdown. They head to the Screaming Wolf for a pint and some lodging.

WELL......SOME OF US ARE FRIENDS

The group make their way further into the underground facility of the Citadel of tears. The encounter a fairly large group of mixed rogues and sorcerers. After a decent battle, they are victorious. Percy finds a strange gem that seems to look like it fits into his fathers skull. After a brief altercation with Guliver, Percy attacks him as he attempts to leave. Guliver turns back around and slays Percy where he stands. The group then gets through into the next room and fights 6 more guys. They defeat them but are all quite wounded and tired. They head back to the Exileton flat to rest up and to bury Percy in the back yard...

WE ARE ALL FRIENDS HERE

When Garradin, Percy, & Guliver return from their hunting trip, they head over to the Dank Dunk for some dinner. They fill in Kim and Cooper on their recent exploits and also introduce them to their new housemate Percy.
Not long after their food arrived at the table then 8 guys wearing the tattoo of the citadel and tear stroll in. They demand 1,000 gold for each of the their brothers who were slain in the alley. Naturally the group refuses and a great battle occurs. The group kills 6, mortally wounds a 7th and the eighth guy escaped. Kim heals the one victim so Percy and Guliver can question him. They find out where the hide out is after Percy removes his ear & Cooper removes the mans tattoo from his neck with his dagger.
The group quarrels a bit over how the equipment from the dead men should be divided up. After some deliberation though, they all come to an understanding and agree to split the shares evenly. They head back the Exileton flat. Madame Tessa has made them some gruel.
In the morning, the group wakes up to a first class breakfast. Bacon, eggs, toast, and cheese. During breakfast, Madame Tessa informs them all that she fired the roofers they hired and wants them to do the work themselves. Guliver convinces her that they will do it tomorrow because they have some important business to handle today
They head over to the hideout of the tower of tears. It is an old abandoned church. there is a boy outside reading a book. After some words they attack the boy only to find out that it is an illusion. They break into the old church and find a trap door... The opening appears to have a darkness spell on it. Garradin heads down first and is almost killed by a barrage of magic missiles. The group makes quick work of these mages..
