The group makes their trek Northward. They are caught in a vicious snow storm. They find shelter in an old barn. They wind up having to spend a fee weeks here until the snow has a chance to subside. In the meantime, Nigel finds a mysterious book that reveals many secrets about the various special items the group has been acquiring.
The group heads out in the spring and comes to a small village. As Guliver & Nigel are buying a cart and food for the horses Garridan & Cooper head into a small residence. Once inside Copper rapes a young girl while Garridan kills the older one. Guliver and Nigel search out for the rest of their party and catch them in the act. Horrified by the actions of the day, Guliver tries to make things right. He escorts the rape victim into to a relatives house. The relative turns out to be a quite skilled mage. Things don't look good for the boys so they high tail it out of town.
When the group arrives in the big city a few days later, there are already wanted posters up for Garridan & cooper.
Garridan merilly sings a tune of old whilest leaving the flea bitten village "You cannot touch me... you would not dare... I am the chill that's in the air". Bring on your best, Garridan will claim the souls of eight more men to quench the blood thirst of my precious dagger of legend.
